Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate- Agdz- Draa Valley - Zagora-Erg Lihoudi Camp
We pick you up at your hotel and begins the journey to the South. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains with the Tizi-N-Tichka at 2260 mts above sea level. We can see the impressive mountain scenery and many Berber villages.
We will arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, one of the best preserved Kasbah in Morocco, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Many films were shot there, such as "Kingdom of Heaven" and "Gladiator."
We continue our journey through the Draa Valley, with 200 km of palm trees making this region one of the orchards of Morocco. We will continue along the Draa Valley to Tamegroute, with its Koranic library and pottery workshops characteristic of the region.
We arrive at the bivouac of Erg Lihoudi, where we spend the night in at nomadic tent.
Day 2: Erg Lihoudi - Sacred Oasis – Large Chegaga Dunes
That day, after attending the sunrise and having breakfast, we find our camel that will take us in Ouled Driss where the 4X4 waits for us to go to the big dunes. We cross the oueds, the hammadas, dunes ... and after 95 kms we arrive at Chegaga, the largest dunes in the entire region, with a height of 300 mts and a length of 40 kms. We will make some stops during the journey, for example in Sacred Oasis, where a stream flows all year.
Overnight in a traditional nomadic tent.
Day 3: Erg Chegaga - Lake Iriqui - Foum Zguid - Tazenakht - High Atlas - Marrakech
After admiring a spectacular sunrise and taking a good breakfast, we begin our journey through the ancient route of the Paris-Dakar, passing through Lake Iriqui, Foum Z Guid, a former military post, and Tazenakht a an important carpet weaving center characterized by an orange frame. We will arrive at Ait Ben Haddou to visit the Kasbah of the Patrimonie Humanite.
Finally, we arrive in Marrakech
